Parents never listen, do they? Paradise Compton-Barr, the English daughter of hippies, is having a hard time getting her mother to listen to her. So far so normal. 

Paradise’s mother, Summer, holds a séance at the old Livingston estate every new moon, taking her lifelong friends along with her. They mixes results, but it’s about the vibe, mostly.

What Summer doesn’t realise is that her attempt to speak to the non-living delivers results for Paradise to connect for a short time each month with her paramour, Freddie.
